Sven Ottke literally ran through the top ten at super middleweight division during his reign and usually fought the best fighters in his division multiple times. He was a throw back fighter with an oldschool defensive style. He did receive a gift decision, maybe the Reid fight at basically the end of his career. He was 37 at the time of the fight I believe. I'd like for people to find other 37 yr olds who boxed and boxed with younger guys the way that he did, almost like a 27 yr old.

Some of the other fights were close in his younger days on the way up.
That's what happens when you fight the best. You either have close wins, or endure losses. Calzghe vs Ottke didn't happen much to the chagrin of both fighters who wanted to make the match.

His KO of Anthony Mundine must be one of the funniest of all time, considering he couldn't punch, had a pathetic knockout ratio and Mundine talked so much trash. I've never seen such a lame punch lay someone out cold....

38 victories from 34 fights is an outstanding achievement.

I'd have another look at his record if I were you.
