otte was totally different to what his record shows - he would have lost every round to calzaghe, jones, hopkins, benn, eubank, nunn, toney to name a few
This is true but Joe can also be accused of a similar infraction when he fought Kevin Mcyntyre and Byron Mitchell. On both accounts he simulated to the ref to stop the bout. To be fair though Kevin was such a terrible defence and much like Freeman Barr had no business in a ring with Joe whatsoever.
He was pretty horrid to watch, and the reid fight was ****ed up, but he played to his strengths so fair play to him really
no the mundine one was a robbery. he shouldn't have been awarded that ko because anthony wasn't hurt he was just having a lie down. lol.
mundine may have faked that how on earth can a man get KO'd so easily against ottke and go 12 grueling rounds against kessler there was something not right about that KO
Sven leftovers.. lol It's not like Sven ruined any fighter. He didn't even ruin Mundine and that was a pretty devastating KO.
Good post. Calzaghe had the style to trouble Ottke, but I still think it would have been close. Ottke absolutely feasted on big punchers. Defensive master, indeed.
Both Brewer fight were dubious, first one a robbery. Mitchell fight was very, very dubious. Larsen was a little iffy. Reid was flagrant robbery. Starie was a bit iffy. I'd say 3 robberies.
There often seems to be very little going on, from either party, in his fights - or at least that's the way it appears.
