I don`t remember Joe ordering the ref to warn Mitchell for knocking him down. Very silly to compare Ottkes ***** performance against Reid to the Calzaghe-Mitchell fight. :verysad

I know a lot of people put emphasis on the Reid fight but if Reid had have won (which lets face it, he did) Ottke wouldnt be undefeated and would have a loss to a fighter Calzaghe beat.

That being the case, would we even be comparing Ottke & Calzaghe?

Whoever thinks Byron Mitchell was robbed against Ottke is clueless. You'd have to be blind or are simply repeating what someone else said to be typing such dog****. It was a comfortable clear Ottke win. One of his best performances & biggest wins.

Calzaghes record shits on ottkes, reason not being fighter quality obviously, but that ottke has several losses that were overturned by bent judges.

 

Sven Ottke pretty much ducked Joe Calzaghe for six years. Pathetic. Sven should like man up and come out of retirement to fight Joe Calzaghe, that or have his body cremated when he dies.

 

you don't remember Joe turning to referee twice whilst he was hitting Mitchell, blatantly turning to him expecting the fight to be stopped. Joe literally turned away from Mitchell to look directly at the ref as if Mitchell had already been paid not to hit him back - otherwise how can you turn your head fully away from your opponent to look for a response from the the ref? The look Joe gave him was basically "wake up why haven't you stopped this when you were supposed to?"

 

Not sure why there is a comparison. Saying Ottke is undefeated is worse than saying Bradley beat Pacquiao. It's a joke. He was a solid fighter who has too many robberies.
