Round 1

Paris comes forward, jabs with his left. High guard. Reges circles left and pops the 1-2 into the guard. Uppercut by Reges. Paris ducks and weaves on the inside. Paris feints with a few hooks around the side from mid range. Reges picks up the pace and starts slapping with jabs and overhand rights. Paris is blocking it all but pushed back to the ropes. Jab/uppercut by Reges. Paris is under heavy fire, backing up a bit unsteadily. Paris keeps tight behind his turtle shell, and circles out. Jabs from Paris. Harder jabs up top by Reges. Soft reaching jab to the forehead by Paris, countered by a soft hook to the temple by Reges.

10-9 Reges on the late burst.

 

Round 2

Paris keeps ducking under Reges' jabs and trying to work his way inside by jabbing up at the chest from bent knees. Reges is backhanding him in the face with his own jab and slapping him across the sides of the head with looping rights and left hooks. Paris is rocked back out of the pocket. Paris circles left, then scoots in to flurry. All misses as Reges backs up. Paris creeps forward, then shuffles back a few inches as Reges jabs out at him. Long jabs by Reges. Paris just watching, posing.

20-18 Reges

 

There is a controlled nervousness in Paris' corner, and a determined look on the face of the White Warrior.

 

Round 3

Paris is caught by a right hand, sent back to the ropes a bit rocked as Reges stabs at him with a follow-up 1-2 but recovers well and gets his guard up. Reges bounces around, spearing out long jabs as he moves to his left. Paris keeps his high guard up even as Reges' jabs slap it out of alignment every few seconds. Reges has taken to hooking as he circles close on Paris now, snapping the punch out with his left every other step. Paris takes advantage by lunging forward as Reges is reeling a hook back in and catching him with a jab. Now a counter right by Paris. Another. Paris is countering well as they engage in a flurrying waltz for the last twenty seconds. Nice turnaround by Sven, both in the round and in the greater context of the match.

Round 4

Paris jabs and hurls himself bodily down to his left, leaned over as he keeps stepping around. Left, now right. Reges follows and jabs at his moving head. Paris tries for some long body shots from outside while leaned over, a bit awkward and poorly aimed. Not much in the round.

39-37 Reges

 

Round 5

Reges is flicking the jab and just tickling Paris with it high on the head. Paris circles to his left with his high guard up, bouncing his arms in front of himself when Reges isn't throwing. Lots of wasted movement by Paris, ducking and weaving while circling and missing his footing on a few steps. Reges is landing some stiff jabs to the head, knocking Paris' head back. They trade jabs from outside, Reges' is longer and straighter. Paris tries to spring up and down in front of Reges to avoid his jab, but is still getting caught. Lots of side to side and forward leaning now by Paris as he keeps circling, a blur of kinetic energy but not accomplishing much defensively. BIG uppercut by Reges from outside. Set-up jab, and another long right uppercut. Whipping overhand right by Reges from outside, chases Paris back. Two stiff jabs by Reges before Paris ducks and springs up with his own jab. Paris is stumbling all over, horrible balance. Paris clinches, but Reges shakes him off and whacks him with a few more flush rights and a HUGE pair of uppercuts - a right and a left - as Paris freezes in place and does a stanky leg dance against the ropes, hopping on one foot like a pogo stick.

In comes the referee, just as Paris' base crumbles beneath him - and the towel flies in!!

TKO!!!

 

Paris' face is busted up.

Reges barely broke a sweat.

 

Paris' very cute girlfriend is crying and making sure he's OK.

So is his...cute sister?

Reges has his robe on, chugging water and just strolling around the ring giving casual high-fives and fist-bumps.
