Rigo has a lot of fights to keep himself busy...and solidify himself as the best Cuban on the scene a true P4P fighter, and the best to come out of Cuba in a long time. Rigo is pure grade A class, what a sick ass fight he did yesterday.. he beat the **** out of donaire, amazing accuracy, power, intelligence. Made me a fan for sure... but if he goes against a mexican like Mikey, or Abner I will be rooting for my team... rigo will be a tough cookie to crack. I'd to see him against these doable fights. Mijares terrazas winner, which is a step down... I think he should immediately move to 126 no one at 122 and below will beat him, only test him. like mijares terazzas, or moreno fight Mikey Garcia, Salido, Donaire rematch maybe, then @ 130 there is mini burgos and Gamboa if we want a good cuban fight with Gamboa aggresively getting at rigo. Arum if he plays his cards right, could make a lot of good fights.
I think he can win them all but Garcia will be the hardest fight that guy is legit, but Garcia likes to counter punch so if he leads he will get countered hard, Salido will get stopped that guy is looking old these days, Mares gets stopped or wide UD I think Gamboa gets stopped, he keeps his hands down and throws flurries, its Gamboa's flurries vs Rigo's one hard counter punch, Gamboa would probably start getting bored then get reckless and get caught
Salido Rigondeaux sounds ****ing sick though because of styles, remember Rigo is a small guy and moving up the bigger guys have a better shot then equally sized guys at 122 where Rigos skills will always come out on top. Mikey Garcia vs Rigo will be another chess match, Burgos gamboa and salido are the ones that interest me the most cause of styles and Mares of course.
I have Rigo beating them all. Rigo is elite. These guys are are the level below elite. Rigo is right near or at the Morales-Barrera tier.
Id like to see him fight Salido, rematch Donaire and fight Garcia. I dont think Arum will make Rigondeaux Garcia. He has big plans for Mikey at 130 and 135.
Im impressed too. That big left from Donaire could have KOd those granite chin chinckeckers in ESB, but Rigo's chin is impressive. BTW, Rigo and Donaire have steel chin tho:good
Mikey-Rigo would be a good fight at 126. Can Garcia sustain his attack against a fast Cuban? can Rigo evade those Mexican-made jabs? WAR!
I don't think it was RIgo having a granite chin, it was Rigo seeing everything Donaire was thoriwning from a mile away, also RIgo was extra cautious with donaire and had a masterful performance, with Maroquin he was being more agressive and showboating and got caught with Donaire he was to cautious... and WTF rigo came in amazing shape, a true proffesional, I hate seeing donaire come in all bloated with no muscle tone, like damn dude work out I'm sure you can cut up. Look at mares vs Moreno, he was ****ing ripped the **** up Rigo Mares true professionals.
Another chess match, Mikey a big 126 pounder. I'd water my mouth for Rigo Salido it would probably be target practice, but maybe Salido could make it interesting, Rigo would be a very small 122 pounder...
That was Donaire's body since he started boxing. Nonaire underestimated Rigo. He could started using his bike on the first place. We could have seen tour the france with philippines and cuba going for the championship belt
