I actually gave Bradley 4 rounds I think. Thought the 11-1 cards were weird. Definitely the wrong decision though.

    :good

I too see Pac and Floyd being victorious in these fantasy fights respectively.

I however don't discount the reasonable possibility that either could conceivably get stopped.

Pick a welterweight that has actually done something.... right off the top of my head:

    Thurman
    Brook
    Porter
    Khan
    Maidana
Alexander (yes, I saw his fight with Tim at 140. Still has accomplished more at 147 than Tim has)

And I'm sure if I dug through the rankings there are others. Bradley hasn't proven anything at 147. That's the entire point. A win over a 40 year old Marquez, and going to war with a 140 pound gate keeper, doesn't say much about Bradley at welterweight.

At 140: Bradley is in the running for the top spot.
    At 147: Unproven.

What I find funny is how Floyd fanatics make constant excuses for Floyds opponents while trying to downplay Pac's. Floyd took on Hatton and Cotto at weights they showed absolutely nothing special at. Mosley had looked like **** for a long time, but since he beat Margarito he was all of a sudden prime again. One win for a Floyd opponent is all his fans want to see. On that same note they will say Algeri and Margarito were bums even though they were coming off of wins also. Pac gets burned for catch weight fights even though Floyd has had some himself and didn't make weight for one. Ortiz and Guerruro are somehow supposed to be better than Bradley.

They both have had good fights over the years. But these Floyd fanatics who try to downplay Manny's resume and act like Floyd has done much more is laughable. Let's not forget how everyone acts like Floyd is tiny and is fighting giants while Pac is made out like he outweighs all of his opponents.

I get what you're saying obviously about accomplishments at 147 but who out of those guys would you pick against Tim? I'll take Thurman, Brook, Khan.

I'll say Alexander loses again based on what I saw in their 140 pound meeting. But you never know, time has gone by and it's a higher weight.

I agree with all your picks, I also believe Maidana beats him. If Bradley can't avoid going to war with Provo, he's going to have a problem going to war with Maidana.

Porter can be too wide with his punches. I can see Tim getting into a groove and working that jab to keep him off balance.

But again: this really is just conjecture because as I keep saying to people.... Bradley hasn't done anything at 147 to warrant the rating he is getting. Let him fight some of these guys, THEN we will know. ESPN ranking Bradley #3 in the division is an absolute joke to me. Completely idiotic and obviously based on his 140 pound accomplishments which have no bearing at 147.

I like Tim as a fighter, but people need to be realistic about what he's done at 147. I don't think Tim will be successful moving up in weight, and will already struggle at 147 as time passes.

Only at 140 has he proven more.

    Bradley's wins at 147:

Marquez (Only 1 win at 147 at the time of the bout)
Provo (who campaigns at 140 pounds)

It's a huge question mark, that frankly, Tim needs to answer by taking on some of the names I mentioned. And Bradley may very well beat everybody I named.... but until he adds at least A NAME OF SOMEBODY RELEVANT to his 147 resume... I'm going to stay skeptical.

Makes sense. How do you see the rest of the division shaking out? I favor Brook over Thurman, Thurman over Khan because he'd probably land something on that chin at some point and I think Khan/Brook is a toss up.

Pacquiao vs. Marquez- 2009 Pacquiao on PEDs beats Marquez possibly by stoppage but has more unconformable moments than Mayweather

Pacquiao vs. Mosley- Pacquiao wins again, a fair bit easier than he did a year later.

Pacquiao vs. Ortiz- Pacquiao Ko's him in the first 3 rounds

Pacquiao vs. Cotto- toughest fight for Pacquiao of the list who would have began to slow at this stage and Cotto didn't have the previous beating Pac administered on him, but I say Pac wins in a similar distance to Mayweather

Pacquiao vs. Guerrero- Pac wide on points, similar to the Guerrero- Thurman fight margin.

Paquiao vs. Alvarez- Alvarez has more moments than he did against Mayweather but I still take Pac to win surprisingly easily.

Pacquiao vs. Maidana I- Pac shut out with a couple of knock down

Pacquiao vs Maidana II- People wonder what the point of a rematch is because Pac wins in similar fashion

    And

Mayweather vs. Hatton- Mayweather stops that version of Hatton by TKO in the mid rounds

Mayweather vs. Cotto- Mayweather by close MD

Mayweather vs. Clottley- Clottley fghts a lot more than he did against Pac but Mayweather beats him fairly easily

Mayweather vs. Margarito- Marg gives Mayweather hell like Maidana did but Mayweather sneaks away with the win

Mayweather vs. Marquez- Marquez does better than when he actually fought Mayweather but still loses around 9-3

Mayweather vs. Mosley- Mayweather wins as easily as he actually did without the torrid second round

Mayweather vs. Bradley- Mayweather in the 9-3 tyoe area

Mayweather vs. Marquez- Mayweather pulls out because Marquez works with Memo

Mayweather vs. Rios- Rios doesn't do as well as Maidana in the first fight, but better than Maidana in the 2nd. May UD

    Mayweather vs Bradley- 9-3 Mayweather

    Mayweather vs. Algeri- 10-2 Mayweather

Now you're talking. There are some GREAT match-ups beyond Mayweather/Pacquiao at 147.

I really need to dig deep on the film study for some of these bouts. I like Brook, but I need to watch more of him. (I've only seen his last 2 fights) I don't like to make predictions without getting a good feel of their style vs various opponents.

Off the top of my head though: Brook/Thurman feels like a pick'em fight. But I need to dig deeper on Brook as I said, so don't hold me to that. :good

Khan is the wild-card of the division in my opinion. Which guy is going to show up on fight night is always my question? I've seen two Khan's if you know what I mean.

Totally fair haha. I've watched a lot of Kell and think he really has the goods if he can continue to make weight. Completely agree Khan is the wildcard. I think Khan has the most talent but that chin... He does look improved under Virgil though. If someone gave me a guarantee Khan/Thurman would go 12 I'd put the house on Amir but that power and that chin is not a good combination for Khan :/.
