This is one of your better match-up threads Shommel, it's a pity that it has been ignored by other posters. This would be a very close fight imo. Bratton would probably do as well as Buddy McGirt, perhaps scoring a knockdown or two along the way from his explosive flurries. I still think Whitaker would come out on top due to his greater versatility, especially on the inside, but it wouldn't be by much and Bratton wouldn't need to fear Pernell's power much, which should give him quite a bit of confidence to stand in and unload shots.
