I'll give you that one, but you have to give Pea the fact that he still beat ALL these big punchers (outside of Tito, who really wasn't fighting Whitaker, but some old dude on coke that looked like Whitaker).

    Fair?

Nobody's race-baiting, I'm simply claiming that you're a lying, biased, nationalistic *****. You don't appreciate boxing unless it involves two fighters duking it out like unskilled street bums. Stick to watching bumfights DVD's if that's the case, but don't bring that bull**** on a boxing forum.

Whitaker dropped De La Hoya, and thats a fact. However, it's something I'd be embarrassed to bring up as part of a defense for Whitaker. Maybe not embarrassed, but not really worth mentioning. It was a clipping punch inside with De La Hoya's slipping at the same time. If De La Hoya's leg never gave way at the same time it more than likely would never have been a knockdown, thus the slip helped Whitaker achieving what he did in scoring the knockdown.

I'd maybe bring up the knockdown when it comes to scoring the fight and rightly so as it was a 10-8 round. But the knockdown doesn't help Whitaker's case when it comes to offense. It looks good on paper, but not visually.

You brought race into a debate about offense and defense, your a sad race baitor.

How the hell can I be lying when Im simply stating an opinion? You make no sense here.

I was born here, again you make no sense.

I guess JLC - Corrales and Vasquez - Marquez amounts to unskilled street bums in your book. :-(

You need to soak your bruised snatch in some ice water. Again I give Pea plenty of props but you want to get ***** hurt over a reasonable opinion, oh well. Carry on.

Your opinion is not reasonable. You bull**** about Whitaker having no offense in his fight with Chavez when he completely tooled him throughout the fight and won about 9 rounds, backing him up and out-FIGHTING him in the 7th and 8th. You refuse to see this because you're a biased dick-rider yourself who can't deal with the truth. Your opinions suck.

    What's offense, though?

Did you score the Pea-Chavez fight for Pea (trust me, the fact that I even need to ask this question is bad, but still... )?

Cause if so, then his offense was good enough to win him EVERY fight until he was old, shot, and a crack head.

But I do agree in part, his "offense" had a lot to do with the judges not always being kind to him. Winning nearly every round against Ramairez, and 118-111 against Chavez, and a close one against Dela Hoya (still faded at the time) - and he doesn't get EITHER of these decisions?

Perhaps YOU were a judge on some of his fights, and his style just didn't warm to you. :D

Chavez' strength was going toe to toe. . . now you think Pea stood toe to toe with Chavez. . . you are truly an idiot. :deal
