Whitaker at any weight. Both showed noticeable decline when they moved to 147, but I think it was less so with Whitaker.

Floyd probably hits a bit harder, might be a little quicker too. Whitaker has the superior jab, the better workrate, the better in-fighting ability, and he goes right to his game from the opening bell, where as Mayweather tends to spend the first few rounds or so figuring his opponent out (which he would surely do against someone like Pea). I think Whitaker was just better in most areas, and certainly the more versatile of the two.

Virtually every round would be competitive, but it would be an 8-4 or 9-3 type decision for Whitaker.

I know, shame on you. How dare you mention Sweet Pea along the line with Mayweather, don't you know that he is the greatest of all time, not this time, not that time, not the other time, but of all timeeeeee...

    i'm just saying...
going by floyds logic, you should never mention his name along with fighters who have losses on their record

Ali fought and beat the best in his era. How many people can say they fought Joe Frazier three times? Foreman only fought Joe twice and in the second fight Joe was beyond shot.

I respect Floyds skill as a fighter and he's beaten some good opponents. But if he wants to be considered the best. He's got to beat the best opponents no question asked.

I'll take a prime sweat pea over a prime money may.

Are you trying to compare Mayweather's resume with Ali's?

Whitaker by landslide UD. Floyd would struggle to win a round. In every way, Pea is his nightmare.
