Naturally gifted - of course he is But you need to develop those natural gifts into skills. Something he has not really done Zab is disappointing
Pernell being somehwat of headcase himself makes me think this is a match up that will not benefit Zab. Zab needs someone stern and father figure like like a Manny Steward, Teddy Atlas
He's no trainer at all, nor is he much of an analyst unless he's in the ring himself. Great, great fighter, but seldom does that translate to training/analysis/commentary, regardless of what the casual know-nothing boxing fan ("Malignaggi said Floyd was the best ever, and I trust a fighter's opinion over yours!") wants to believe.
Zab is fast with pretty good power. That alone doesn't make someone a great boxing talent, just a good athlete. When you General Forum twerps will be able to differentiate between the two I have no idea.
I think it's really good, I hope Zab gets better in shape for the next bout I like watching him. But honestly, Zab is a bum now. So pretty much I like watching bums fighting. It's all Haye's fault, goddamn ****.
He might just have not got a good 1 yet, working with amateurs etc. Judah is perfect stylistically for Pea, it just depends if Pea's defense comes from knowledge, instinct or following what his trainer taught him without being able to pass it on. Judah says Pea is teaching/explaining the techniques, sounds exciting
What Zab needs is motivation or something to fire him up. Something that would turn on the switch to kill mode. Seriously, this guy would wreck a lot of fighters if he has controlled aggression along with his naturally gifted attributes and skills.
