Sweet science? Beautiful display of boxing??

That fight had me freaking out and yelling at the screen. It was damn good. There wasn't much sustained action but it rarely went more than 10 seconds without some sort of shot being landed or almost landed. It was a high-danger situation the entire time.

And it wasn't due to Rigo's style. It was due to the fact that both guys wanted the other to lead so they could decapitate him with a counter. You put two powerful, skilled counterpunchers together and this is the sort of fight you get.

Both guys will be right back to their KO ways after this.

Exactly how I feel. I love pure boxing. Prefer it to wars most of the time.

 

His movement is excellent, the way he moves one way than instantly brings in back in another direction while the opponent is still focused on the first movement is class. Jersey joe was the master of it.

 

This is where you can separate us ha'co mofos from the casual ass poofters.

That was a magnificent tactical display from Rigo,and given that Donaire is such a superb fighter it's all the more remarkable how pedestrian Rigo made him look.
The Colonel's commentary(and was sad that Timmy was so poor until late on with tactical analysis) would fool all the wrestling fans into thinking that ring generalship means walking forward(even if it's in straight lines) but Rigo absolutely controlled that fight.
His head movement in the third round was a joy to behold and the way he got out of trouble after the KD was sublime.
I also won £140 as I let my heart rule my head and it worked for a change.
This was similar to Barrera-Hamed in that despite the scores being close(I had 115-113 allowing that I gave Donaire a round I maybe shouldn't have),one man completely dictated the pace of the fight.
Well done Rigo.You were a joy to watch son.

 

So ****ing butthurt, Donaire got schooled, deal with it.
