Usually when there is a champion that is a knockout artist / come forward pressure fighter he gets found out at some point by a boxer and is never the best of the era. What are the cases in history when the best fighter of that decade / era wasn’t a sweet science boxer?

What about Chavez Sr? He wasn't the best fighter of a decade though and he did get found out by Sweet Pea.

chavez was 31, had 87-0 record, and was stepping up to his 4th division to fight pea... pea didnt find nothing but the ceiling on a p4p #1 and atg.
