Thanks Leon - With Canvas Classics reduced to half an hour, it would be great to see Foreman v Lyle.

Do you have a copy of that fight as Sky doesnt have it in their library?

DSS - Good interview with Lovemore ? (I don't know what his surname is anymore!), and interesting point he made about weight loss and getting KOed.

Have seen that tendency too where guys have gone up divisions and surprisingly 'survived', only to go down divisions again and get iced.

An example is Roy Jones Jnr who'd had 50 odd fights and no KO losses prior to beating John Ruiz for the WBA heavyweight title. In the process Jones added 20 pounds to his frame. In returning to light heavy Jones shed the 20 pounds and was promptly KO'ed by Tarver & Glen Johnson.

It could be argued that Jones was mid 30's by then and due for something like that against quality opposition, but I also think there's something in what Lovemore is saying about weight, strength and KOability.

Lovemore got a text during the show with an offer from Hlatshwayo's management for a fight in South Africa for his new IBF Belt.

Would you take that fight or a softer fight against Matthew Hatton for bigger money?

    Hatton for more money.

    He loses to Isaac.

At this stage of his career an IBF belt in a 2nd weight class may be his priority. Lovemore feels that if he gets in the ring with a fellow South African that it will be master and pupil - Isaac included. Or maybe money talks + making 55,000 singing poms go quiet will appeal over time. Its always nice to have options.
