No boxing on 1503AM here in Melbourne, only nonstop music from 6pm.

    My apologies gents.

Last night was the launch of the new technology which automatically pulls down the Sweet Science feed from the satellite.

I guess they still have a few kinks to work out.

In future try the other website listed www.nirs.org.au or gadigal.org.au - It is sure to be on those if 3KND has issues.

Hofguy - As discussed time to invest in some speakers as befits El Presidente.

It was a mighty show and in summary.

Tommy Mercuri - Said Lenny is taking the loss hard but is back in the gym already. They could not believe how good Vazquez evasive and boxing skills were and gave him full credit. Vazquez was very respectful and came into the change rooms after and said Lenny will be world champion and gave him a hell of a fight. Lenny also trained with Freddy Roach who thinks he has a big future at elite level. Tommy and Lenny are thinking of moving to the US for a year for sparring and exposure to a wider range of training techniques.

Adam Wilcock - Enjoying his foray into boxing with the Australian fight series. Will consider other weight classes after tournament complete. Has secured Frank LoPorto his first US fight.

Robbie Peden - Fresh from the 21st Lionel Rose Cup (Victorian Am Champs) He took 2 of the Fitzroy Star batch of kids. The Reborn Fitzroy Stars going strong and up to 60 kids attend training. Good govt partners for the program. Also announcing a potential comeback in August to raise funding for Mens health.

Sam Soliman - Super confident ahead of his April Fools IBF #2 eliminator shot against German Benjamin Simon (20-1) in Berlin. Sam's fitness is good and feels although Simon has a great knockout ratio (95%), he has never faced anyone of his experience, hunger and fitness.

Omar Shaick - Is looking forward to his Australian title middleweight shot against Johannes Mwetupunga. Has had good sparring in Kariz Kariuki, Jarrad Fletcher. Has respect for Johannes as a warrior who earned the belt the hard way. Is enjoying training under Chris McCullen, great family atmosphere. McCullen said Shaick is the hardest trainer he has ever seen in boxing.

Some real positives in that lot - thanks for providing the words in the absence of the show mate.
