Danny is naturally the highest profile story here and I'm sure you'll know exactly what to ask him DSS - will be listening with great interest.

The Brisbane Aboriginal station does not think boxing is relevant which is extraordinary considering the rich history of Murri boxing.

We would be happy for a non NIRS (National Indigenous Radio Station) partner in Brisbane if you have any suggestions.

We will be coming live in Perth soon with the relaunch of Noongar Radio 100.9FM hopefully in July.

DSS... interesting to hear Green sounding so positive about any fight with RJJ. He sounds quite convinced of a plausible victory.

Went through some of the archives last night also. I need to download and save these series to the PC.. just too uneducated in the PC world.

I think through the intersection of age, wear and tear, hunger and weight that it could be a fascinating fight and even a war for the ages.

Symbolically it won't be as big as Jackson v Burns but it could be a lot closer and fairer.

Held in Melb with rollicking press events like the last one it could capture the imagination of the public and beat Tszyu v Leija's attendance record.

The casual boxing fan doesnt care that Roy is over 40 because he talks such a great game.

Brilliant management by Green Machine and if it all comes off it will undoubtedly be great for the Australian fight game.

Even if Lacy spoils the party, and Roy has an excuse or is not knocked out badly it could still go on as long as Green has the IBO belt

I'm sure Phil could come up with a "Challenger Emeritus" status for Roy.

We've certainly got the sports mad public and the venues here in Melb to help make it the huge event it should be. Options are probably:

1/ Etihad Stadium (the dome with the retratable roof) - capacity 55,000.
2/ Rod Laver Arena (the Tennis Centre) - capacity 15,000.
3/ Hisense Area (next to the Tennis Centre) - capacity 10,000.

Probably up to the promoters as to whether they want to go for pure numbers, or whether they'll price it higher for fewer. The Dome would be great. The cheap seats could be a long way from the ring but there's large colour video screens at both end to assist.

    All agreed DSS.

I watched the last Jones outing via the 'net'. Yes Leon, I actually clicked on the right buttons and viewed the fight... No, It wasn't a porn site!!

Jones looked fantastic. His name in Oz would still draw a huge crowd at 40. Take into account that Green's no spring chicken, comparatively a few years difference only. For any Aussie to fight an international opponent of Jone's calibre, the seats would have to fill quicker than Mundine's bib. Regardless of a possible RJJ loss to Lacy, any showing of Roy is a must.

Green at Cruiserweight?? The bout would have to be a sensation. Danny would be relatively slowed at this weight, yet his durabily would increase dramatically.

Sounds like a good show, should it eventuate.
