Just finished this new book about Sugar Ray Robinson. Great read!!

If you like boxing history, you will enjoy this biography by Will Haygood.

Anderson's book is very good; however, Sweet Thunder has much more depth, in my view. It is superbly researched.

The chapter on the six LaMotta fights is outstanding. The description of his fight with George Costner is breathtaking.

Robinson's dedication to training is well documented. He did loads of roadwork!

Also, lots of good information on Robinson's interest in jazz and fashion.

There are mistakes in Haygood's book -and many out here would catch them as quickly as I did.

What are some of the more glaring mistakes?
