Sure did. He had fantastic stamina too. Could bop about for 15 rounds no problem. Lost very few championship rounds throughout his career.

Unfortunately, it looks like you're the only two that refer back to them once in a while.

Shame really. There are plenty of controversial decisions to review.

I have quite a bit left to go thru, but i feel i am missing the years around the Whitaker-ODLH fights as i wasn't following much.

I think Ring had it Whitaker by a point, Boxing News had it De La Hoya by two.

So the consensus scorecard amongst the given press felt Leonard won 8-6-3. This good score card.

It is interesting to note that most who felt Hagler won have it close, but some who felt Leonard won have him winning by bigger margins.

It is also interesting to note that Hagler's hometown newspapers in the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald scored the fight for Leonard.

NY Times had Spoon ahead too. This was the contest that forced Larry to undertake his Operation: Mallard strategy as we know. :good

    Cheers mate :good

Rosario-Davis is one I have to review some time soon. Didn't put up a card for it when I first watched it.

With regards to Holmes-Witherspoon, I had Larry by a point. Quite a few of our rounds diverge though:

I had Holmes taking rounds 1,4,5,6,11 and 12. I had Witherspoon taking rounds 2,7,8,9 and 10. With round 3 being even.

What were your cards for these two fights JT?

Didn't do a card for Rosario-Davis but felt Rosario won a close one. I have Holmes ahead of Witherspoon by 1 or 2 points depending on the day.
