drum roll please............ duguguguguguguguguugugugugugugugug Carlos De leon JR.!!!!!!!! 18 wins 2 losses with 14 KOs... See i told u guys that TBA is going to be a dangerous opponent. FYI Deleon knocked out an undefeated MgGirt JR and lost a SD to Zuniga so he's obviously not an easy fight.. This is the cofeature to Taylor/Froch.. Thoughts?
Its good to see Allen Green back on track...It sucks he had to get the majority of his colon removed..I hope he can bounce back...He's a talented fighter who can do something with his talent and skills..Despite what most critics has to say about Allen, he's got potental to be champ if he only makes the right sacrificies.
i'm dead serious, a dealer i know of sorts has a product called sweetness green and i think thats a reaosn allen was called that....being nicknamed after dope is not a good idea personally.
thats what its sayin on boxrec, but i dunno he might be still promoted as sweetness and im 99% sure i read an interview with allan green saying that he got his nickname from Sugar Ray Leanord. I guess Leanord was goin to promote Green and would say he was so good at boxing it was sweet or somethin along those lines. but then the contender came up and leanord had to back out of helping green. if anyone knows of the article and could post a link id appreciate it :good
I agree with your first post.." Sweetness" was a hell of a lot better than Ghost Dogrofl)...What the hell was Allen thinking of when he came up with that alias?:? I'll have to read up on I guess to see what going on.
found the article "Ike: How did you get the name "Sweetness"? Green: I got that name from my idol and former promoter Sugar Ray Leonard. After one of my clinical bouts he said "That was sweetness". I was nicknamed the "True Dream" at the time." source: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=6717&more=1 (haha its from eastside, see i knew i read it somewhere that i look at every day)
It will be good to see him back in action. i don't think he will ever be an all time great but he has a lot of talent and if he can get his career on track, I think he can win a world tittle or two in his career.
