09 will be Green's coming out party as long as the title holders don't run from him.. He's looking to fight for the title in his very next fight and he got that green light on Bute. C'mon Bute stop running!!!! I bet bute is going to fight a softie after that scare against Andrade.. Only time will tell but i was never sold on Bute.. Green would kill this guy..

Green would take Bute's belt and use Pascal as a tuneup..

    Green KO pascal

Is that why Allan Green turned down a title shot against Bute last year? :rofl

He turned down the fight due to management problems but now that he's signed with a new promoter, he's ready for his coming out party. And with his health fully intact, all the contenders to the title holders better watch their backs cuz Green is coming to take names. Just line em up..

Green wins this one via stoppage or wide decision. I like Pascal, but Green is a fine fighter with power and skill.

He is seriously underrated on here.

I hate Green, but he's got some power, and Pascal got rocked by Pitman.

    Amen.. :thumbsup

Everyone can have an opinion and i try my best to respect it but I sometimes really wonder who on ESB is a true boxing fan and who's the casual type.

There are some boxing forums that really recognizes Allan Green but on here, he's beyond underrated. Underestimating him is one thing but it seems like alot of people actually hate the guy.. It's ridiculous really. Pure ignorance.

I've always admitted that I have real bad feelings toward Green because of the Linton fight. Green got a gift in his home town and since then has acted like a jack ass about it.

True...but he took massive shots from a heavy handed Carl Froch and survived the distance.

I'd favor Pascal in an entertaining fight.

Well, Bute is searching for a US opponent as it looks like the fight with Larsen doesn't work. Bute is not running, as Maxime pointed out, Green refused a fight last year, whatever excuse you can tell us. And that was for an optional. Usually the first optional is an easy defense to make some cash. It seems Bute's promoter doesn't have the same opinion on a fight against Green than you do! I bet also Bute will fight a softie after Andrade. Green IS a softie.

Your ignoring the business side of boxing or maybe u just don't understand it, but Green was caught up with promotional issues which was the main reason why he couldn't fight bute last year and didn't fight much at all. Are u implying that Green is scared of this glass chin bute who can't even handle pressure? Puhhlease.. Fighters don't get scared aiiite? Bute isn't even in Green's level.

Your right,Bute is far above Green.Green hasn't beaetn anyone top 30 in the division but somehow being an american he is arguably ranked top 10.Green is finished. He should rematch Carl Daniels.
