Sweetness Allan Green VS Jean Pascal

Agreed that Bute is far above him (tho his durability issues in a tough fight now scare the **** out of me)...but I have never seen a legitimate list that has Green in the top 10...other than certain people's personal list on who they think the better fighters in the division are (I rank him top ten on talent and potential personally). HELL, even boxrec has him in the mid 20s.

Question tho...why does it always come down to being american on this forum? That xenophobic **** is getting ****ing tired on here...bring some facts to the table please, rather than the colors of a flag. One- your a much better poster than that (tho Im not just addressing you) and Two- it doesnt hold weight in this case...or in most cases I read about on here (and the same goes for the americans perpetrating the cause on the other side).

I was once told I was a biased American for saying Ali would beat Golota. And Im not joking and neither was that dumb ass poster.

How can he be one level under man?Think about it?Look at their records,Bute has been fighting tough guys from the begginging,like Green somewhat.But after a while Green hasn't fought the level of oppsition Bute fought.Bika,Berrio and Andrade were all ranked better than Green is now.Bute was a better amateur.Bute has a title.They both are about what 29 years old right?When is Green gonna probe what?

 

Thunder...your one of the posters on here I respect the opinion of greatly. There are tons of posters on here that perpetrate that nonsense...people such as ourselves with actual boxing knowledge should be above that.

As for Green, I dont think its out of the question to say he IS one of the more talented fighters in the division, and SHOULD be a top ten guy, but has so far underperformed either in the ring vs fighters he was clearly better than (Miranda pops into mind...but he was VERY sick leading up to it), health issues or just making STUPID ****ING DECISIONS (the ESPN thing). When he gets into the ring, there arent too many SMWs I would comfortably favor over him...which is why I put him in MY top ten.

I dont know...its just this xenophobe **** is really getting out of hand to the point that Im contemplating deleting my account.

Agreed but I'm kinda growing tired of these bufoons on here.Green is a good fighter but he would have problems with most guys outside the top 5 at SMW.His health issues are pretty bad and Idoubt he will get better.His colon being removed and all.

Green v Pascal would be a terrific match up for both men right now. Pascal has just gone 12 rounds with Froch and Green is looking to get his name back into the top 10. A winf or either man gets their name put back into the limelight at 168. Have only seen the bare minimum of Green so I don't know an awful lot about him. Hopefully he's over his health problems and can make some noise this year. Pascal proved his heart and beard in the Froch fight. Not as fast as he was hyped to be but he's a quality fighter. I couldn't legitimately pick a winner in this one but i'd be fascinated to see who does.
