    How do you guys see this fight playing out in a prime for prime matchup...

    never liked duran in this one. whitaker is the only lightweight i'd give 50/50 or greater odds against him.

    Duran by tko late in the fight. I don't see Whitaker being able to keep Roberto off of him. He will make Duran look foolish in many of the early to mid rounds but Duran keeps chaging and throwing those fast, deadly combos. A big punch gets through sometime in the fight and when it does, Duran won't let him off the hook.

    Actually, you're right. I redact that statement. If the coke-depleted PW survived the bombs of Felix Trinidad then the prime one will survive the bombs of Roberto Duran.

    But I will take Duran to win the decision in a great fight:smoke

    That said, I would rate Tito 'finishing qualities" as being equal to that of Duran at lightweight.
