i think swimming is good for loosing weight, while not burning muscles.

yeah, i am uneducated in that area so it may sound strange, but i think you know what i mean :D

You always seem to follow me around an nit-pick at my posts. You have issues.

Is it because the amino acid receptors will block protein synthesis in your arms causing you to go into ketosis?

It seems you're well versed in broscience:think

Wlad swims because a 245 pound man shouldn't be running like Marciano did. (Your knees don't like 245 pounds of weight)

Alternatively you can get a treadmill with a lot of cushion and put it on a 1-2 degree slope.
(You need the slope because running on a treadmill takes less energy, and the slope makes it harder again)

Treadmills give a imbalance in the Legs mechanics.

I see the problem now, thanks for pointing it out.

How would wrestling be for cardio?

I mean the kind where you just push each other out of a ring, or off a matt.

I remember when I was wrestling some guy in school and we had to push each other off a matt.
But he was around twice as heavy as I was, so pushing him off the matt was nearly impossible.
Meanwhile I was much too quick for him to push me off the matt.(Every time I was nearly pushed off I just got back in the middle)

It was one of the most tiring things I'd ever done.

Did that myself years ago, we do it now and again. I think its good, Hands on Elbow and Shoulder for 20 secs pushing, then Shadow Box 20 secs throwing Combos. Great for Conditioning :good.
