Swimming vs Running

    What are the benefits of both and what are the disadvantages of both can swimming be beneficial to boxing?

    I can't swim and I hate running.
    Running is better mentally for you because it's slightly more gruelling.

    Interval Swimming is by far the most gruelling exercise i have ever done try swimming as fast as you can when full of lactic acid and gasping for air

    I believe that swimming uses more muscles than running does, and its a low impact exercise so its less stressful and your joints

    Probably when he gets in the water and has no idea what to do. :lol:
    MrSmall, you need to learn how to swim, everyone should know.

    id say swimming is better for you because it doesnt kill your joints like your knees and **** where as running does. and yes swimming is beneficial to boxing

    Its simple, there are no championship fights held in the pool. Running is better for boxing, swimming is better for swimming.

    i love running but i am injured at the moment, i dont know how long it will take to get better, but for now i have to swim.

    and there are no fights held on a track and no fights held on a jump rope but they are all tools to help you fight.... by your idiotic logic that would be saying that jump roping is for jump roping and running should be for running and hitting the speed bag should only be for hitting the speedbag...

    because swimming being used for anything but swimming is completly obsured right? :patsch
