there are too many robberies in US to even begin to list, they are happening week after week (and in other countries too), anyone who watches any boxing knows this, everyone i know knew that kovalev was NOT going to get a decision in that fight, usually somewhat close rounds go to the champ, not here though

 

So only Linares then. And he didn't get robbed on the cards but he did have Hearn in the post fight presser telling everyone he would be having a word with Mendoza at the WBA to give the judge who had 117-111 (entirely acceptable) a 'rest'.

Definitely sounds like a tempting environment for established stars to fight in.

That was the fight where Terry O'Connor basically nullifies Linares body punching by giving out warnings for nothing. Still at least he wasn't carrying fighters back to the corner like Clev against Kov.

People complain about the fixed fights in Russia, but USA is becoming just as bad!
Enjoy all of the major title fights in Vegas, it won't be that way for ever. Corruption can only remain for so long.

 

The home fighter probably would have got the decision and the fans of the losing fighter and other people who disagreed with the decision would be moaning. That's what happens in close, difficult to score fights.

Agree with the first paragraph but bad decisions could happen anywhere,though im in the states and its a mess really with everyone being connected and having hidden agandas with a fighter being pushed to win even if he loses (Ward)...who clearly lost ,end of.

 

Ward wont fight anywhere but Vegas now. After that decision its obvious who they've chosen as the new cash cow now Mayweather's thankfully gone. Byrd let Ward do as he pleased not one warning. Ward gets put on his ass I scored it 7-5 to Kovaley plus the K/D in round 2 making it 115 -112 Kovalev. That is being lenient to Ward too. A rematch with better officials is a MUST!!!
