Szpilka will win. He's heavily bankrolled by a European promoter, and Basile is a fighter who sells his name and record as an opponent. Anytime you see this combination of fighters, you can bet that the better financed guy will win. The "A" side's people are usually not dumb enough to get their man knocked off by picking the wrong opponent.
ok Szpilka is a favourite but Basile could pull off an upset here, he is clearly Szpilkas best opponent to date. Szpilka has not been hit and not gone to the later rounds !
a 38 year old guy that just lost an 8 round decsision to an 11-7-2 guy that had 1 win in his last 6 fights. a 38 year old guy who has been knocked out in the first round 3 times. thats whats funny about him...he sucks..... and you are asking someone who they are picking? :rofl um ok
It will be Szpilka's 11th pro fight. He wanted McCline but he priced himself out. Szpilka is also supposed to be fighting someone solid next month.
i realize this and have no problem with it. was answering the other guys question. you will not even find one person to pick "basile" , being his thread is "who ya got"? a better more realistic topic will be "do you think basile makes it out of round 1?"
Basile has a good looking record but he is probally gonna be a easy win for Szpilka. Basile besides be much more experienced has a very weak chin. Brazilian Marcelo Nascimento, who is a just a average fighter with some power ins his hands put Basile to sleep with just a single punch. For this stage, i think is a decent fight for Szpilka, Basile is still a lot better than the guys Wilder fought if you compared but will not be anything impresive with this win, actualy if he not ko Basile in a few rounds, will look bad for him.
