So he is fighting: 2013-02-01 Mike Mollo 2013-02-23 Krzysztof Zimnoch this is only 3 weeks between what I'd consider two pretty difficult fights ! Now it has been announced that Szpilka will headline a gala in Rzeszow in April against a "strong opponent preferably from the USA". Now it is great to see this kind of activity from a good prospect. But is it perhaps a little too much ?
well, he has been off for 8 months, and he admitted himself that he's hungry to fight as much as possible, I guess he knows how much his own body can take better than anyone else plus, he's only 23, so it's good that he's fighting regularly
Mollo aint fought in forever. Spilka should stop him early enough. Zimnoch? Looks solid enough, but Szpilka is all wrong for him to test himself against. Artur probably won't box 6 rds between the two fights.:think
if he manages to get both of them out in a total of 6 or less rounds I would consider him top 10 level.
Szpilka wants it and is hungry. Above all, he's heard they nay sayers balk at his hype (and they are justified to be somewhat sceptical) and wants to prove them wrong. Having said that, I think this is too many fights in a span of a couple of months. An in fight injury, no matter how slight, will derail these lofty ambitions. As the addages go: one opponent at a time & quality over quantity.
