Szpilka's camp is trying to match him up with Chris Arreola.

In my opinion, Chris has looked pretty bad lately. Szpilka is signed with Al Haymon now and they've been working him slowly since his loss to Jennings. He hasn't been able to show what he's learned with new trainer Ronnie Shields because all 3 opponents he's faced so far have been bums that either got KO'd or quit by the end of RD 2.

I'll be happy to see Szpilka face someone like Arreola. Chris doesn't quit and likes to exchange punches.

In my opinion, Szpilka wins this because he's younger, fresher and in way better condition than Arreola. It'd be a good measure on what we can expect from him moving forward.

    What you guys think?

I think Szpilka will use his youth, speed, and athleticism to comfortably outbox Arreola to a wide decision win. There's an outside chance of an Arreola KO given the fact that Szpilka is a bit chinny, it's definitely not unlikely that he'll have to survive some tough moments to get the win, but I think he wins this very convincingly.

Arreola got beat by Stiverne, who in turn was worse than Wilder

Arreola is done. He won't see the final bell. Szpilka is too young too fresh and has enough power to take Chris out.

Szpilka-Arreola would be a heavyweight war that we haven't seen in awhile

This version of Arreola loses a clear UD to Szpilka imo.

Current Arreola gets beaten by anyone who isn't a journeymen. Any contender looking for an opponent who poses little risk but has a recognizable name will be looking to pad their record with Arreola, so not really surprised by Szpilka wanting to face off against Arreola.

This would basically be Arreolas last chance

Should be an action packed heavyweight fight. Winner hangs around contender level for a while longer and may deserve a high profile fight

Based on Arreolas last two fights he has little more than a punchers chance.

Which is a decent chance against Szpilka who isn't all too hard to hit and has shown a tendency to go down in the past

Well he wasn't able to KO journeymen in his last two, where as Szpilka has improved considerably since those fights where he was knocked down by Mollo.

If Chris has anything left at all it would be an awesome, exciting fight. He looks totally shot though, so Skpilka will probably win. A couple years ago Arreola would have ktfo Spilzka in a few rounds. Spilka is really building a great resume on former top contenders, getting them at the ideal time, right when they become shot and beatable but while they are still a legit name in the division (McCline, Adamek, and now perhaps Arreola).
