Hearns on points, but he would have Mayweather down a couple of times.

Too damned bad their times didn't overlap...Hearns would have covered himself with glory...

Something I'm noticing is that in real life, a large contingent of fans have had to eat their generous predictions from the Corrales fight to the Pacquiao fight and everything in between. But in the fantasy world, Mayweather continues to get routinely knocked out.

Hearns went the distance with Murray Sutherland and Luigi Minchillo back to back while at his peak, but easily knocks Mayweather out? Benitez was like a B- version of Mayweather and was competitive with Hearns, but Floyd gets rolled over?

Magician Mayweather can win rounds, but will find it hell to get past the Hearns jab. Hearns UD.

If Hearns tags Mayweather with shots similar to that dished out by Maidana and Mosley, then a KO or at least KD is not out of the question.

I doubt Benitez would ever do what Floyd did against a shopworn De La Hoya (the closest ****ogue to Hearns), which was to give away 4 rounds on the cards by doing practically nothing. Bottom line: Floyd's lack of work rate and conservative style that he (sensibly) adopted at 147/154 casts serious doubt about his chances to win rounds against Hearns, though it might allow him to last the distance, I agree.

Well, he would cut down Hearns' output severely too. I'm not saying I don't favor Hearns, but I think it would be a close fight with Hearns dropping the last two or three rounds.

Is it this easy to ko a man who hasn't been knocked down in 19 years as a pro.hearns on points he wouldn't come close to ko .15 round decision around the same way he did Benitez another defensive wizard.

    Hearns by wide decision.

Terrible matchup for Mayweather, whom I think fares very well h2h with just about anyone from 130-140, but not 147.

Leonard is fawned over on this site as the second best Welter only to SRR. Well Tommy was out boxing him in their first fight, and was up on all cards after 12.

Now Leonard didn't start out at 130, and have his best moments at 135, so yeah it is more than possible Tommy KO's Mayweather. In any event he wins.

Hearns I'll give mayweather the respect to last the distance but I feel Hearns wins this comfortably. Just a way bigger naturally longer harder hitting man. Plus a great boxer in his own right.

Gee i find it very strange, that a man who has been fighting nearly 20 years, and gone 49-0 against some of the greatest fighters in the World, has never been on the Canvas, suddenly get's KO'D by Hearns:huh

Mayweather is the better defensive fighter with a better chin, Hearns is longer and had more power, something tells me Mayweather's chin would hold up in this fight..

50-50 fight could go either way, if i had to say Hearns by a razor thin decision, and has to get off the Canvas to do it..
