Of course, Check the gif, right after the upper cut has landed, whats the Challenger doing... *(Hold up, Time Out, Wait a min, let me get my wits about me)* he sure as ****ing wasnt showing the actions of a man who was dominating the fight.

People always look at how Lewis slumped down on the stool and I agree he did, but this was a brutal pace for two big guys, what they often leave out is the way Vitali looked as well at the end of the round, the last 40 seconds of that round he looked exactly like he did in that gif, holding Lennox allowing Lennox to hit him with several clean uppercuts exactly like that.

Had the fight continued, Lewis would have damaged that eye more, blood would have blinded Vitali and Lewis would have knocked him out as Vitali would not have been seeing the shots coming his way, and they cant argue the cut was going to be under control he had the best Cut man in the game and that eye never once stopped bleeding like that

Vitali was Lucky he was allowed to box for as long as he did. I have seen fighters stopped immediately after such bad cuts. He had his chance to turn it around but failed to do so. In fact it was Lewis who ended the fight stronger.

You could call one cut lucky. But Vitali had 2 very bad cuts. Fact is once Lewis altered his tactics he was able to walk Vitali down and was landing clean right hands, which against Lewis was never a good thing.

The doctor may have been the person to end the fight, but it was Lewis who gave the doctor no choice but to pull Vitali out.

I'm convinced that there is a group of boxing fans who belives that Vitali Klitschko just bleeds from his face at random, and the Lewis fight was a case of bad timing.

Vitali owes that man a debt of gratitude.

    Quite possibly saved Vitalis career.

If that fight wouldn't have been stopped you have seen Vitali flat on his back. Look at the last round, round 6. Lewis has Vitali HURT and staggering all over the place. Vitali hardly through a single punch that round was just holding on for dear life.

Not to mention the brutal cuts on his eye, cheek, and mouth if he took more punches could have potentially ended his carrer.

    LEWIS TKO 6

Not sure why people can't enjoy this fight for what it was: an exciting shootout between an aging great champion and his successor.

Both men gained something from the fight! What is the point of arguing over it.

I for one would love to see Wlad Klitschko be involved in something like this, provided fans on both sides wouldn't ***** about it for the next 15 years.
