personally I'm not reading that black text on a black background.Screw that

Lewis had a slow start, was deeply unfit and out of shape (vitali said so aswell) and after rd 3 he came on strong.......tko6

vitali being a mardy bum at the end and attempting kicks in boxing is just a measure of the mans poor character

lewis deserved a rematch because he was beaten by worse opponents.

yet vitali doesn't deserve a rematch when he "lost" to a worse opponent?

    lewis fans live in contradiction.

Vitali is way more classier and humble than Lewis would ever be.

Vitali is a respected politician internationally and Lennox Lewis was fired off the HBO commentating team. There on different levels of classiness.

Even after vitali attempted to kick him in the head lewis still offered him a hand up.

You dont know the meaning of class "son".

Also vitali is a noob at politics.........and has already had one brawl in parliament

Lewis worked his way back up the rankings to get his rematch with McCall. No immediate heavyweight elminator for him. He had to beat Butler, Fortune Morrison and Mercer before he got one, and it was purely coincidental that his opponent in the heavyweight elminator for the WBC Mandatory spot was McCall.

And Lewis had a rematch clause in his contract with Rahman, a clause that he was forced to take Rahman to court to get enforced.

Neither the rematch with McCall or the rematch with Rahman were awarded to Lewis based on his performance in the first fight against them.

Vitali deserved a rematch based on his performance against Lewis and by winning the mandatory shot, but Lewis didn't owe him one. Lewis in the worst condition physically and mentally he'd ever been in for a world title fight had taken everythingVitali had to give, withstood it and stopped him within the twelve rounds. Lewis had given Vitali his chance, and Vitali blew it, and Lewis was perfectly within his rights to walk away without fighting Vitali again.

Lewis couldn't even beat Mercer in a "true" way.

    And you know about Vitali?

He got beaten into a bloody pulp by a past it version of a guy who couldn't even beat a guy who got beaten by a 43 years old Larry Holmes.
    :rofl

Nonsense........everyone agrees the fight should have gone on and vitali should have lost an eye and got knocked out. Lewis didnt want it stopped either

Jasper, who are you kidding, you don't have anything to write a long response with, you have no actual rational arguments, just chiildish slogans. Vitali retired Lewis. And UD15Also, you show your hatred for VK by irrationally devaluing his place among the greats in boxing. And dyna, gee nice smilies, too bad you don't have any logic to back up those bad ass smilies. And you only prove my point by delegitimizing Wepner's one good win.

No, its Vittles fans who live in contradictions. Its ok that Vits quit and didn't rematch Byrd, but it not ok Lewis won and followed up on the plans he already had to retire. Talk about double standards! And don't worry kitty, I'm sure you won't respond. Klitards can never answer this question without "contradicting" themselves. :yep
