They take twice as many opponents, its not like they are fighting once every 2 years. Just the fact that no one can touch either of the brothers speaks volumes. You can argue who is the better, but the fact is the Klitschko name will be remembered. And Lennox Lewis will be remembered as a chicken.
congratulations - its taken you 3 posts to reveal yourself a ****. Tko6 Also the volume thats spoken is the division sucks and they fight nobodies.
It's still here, but with the sticky removed and locked. :!: This is no longer the ESB forum, affiliated with the EastSideBoxing main page - but boxingforum24, affiliated with boxingnews24. (hence the change of logo and everything)
Two gassed out baffoons doing the tango around the ring. No skill or craft on display whatsoever. The actual fight was ****. Its the mythos of tko6 thats kept it alive.
That described most heavyweight affairs to be honest. :yep For a HW title match, it was decent. (especially in light of just about every one since)
Earned the right to go out on his own terms, even if that was with his tail between his legs. Prime 4 prime, Lennox slaughters Britali. TKO6.
Tail between his legs? If they had gone to a 7th, it wouldn't be a TKO - it would've been Lewis KO7 Klitschko. :deal
You feel that fight didn't warrant a rematch? Admittedly Vitali's face looked like an exit wound, but Lennox was still getting manhandled at times in there.
At times. By the end, he was closer to scoring a knockout than being on the receiving end. That isn't exactly leaving with his tail between his legs, IMO - it's bowing out as the dominant man. He didn't owe Vitali or the fans a rematch, and there was nothing left to prove given how poor a version of Lewis that was and still victorious. He was already halfway out the door into retirement as it was.
Vitali knew he needed a knockout to win. He couldn't do it. The better man won. Great fighters can close the show. Marciano was only given one more round to knockout charles or he was going to lose the fight. He went out and knocked him out. Vitali had more than one round to do it.
