    Wikipedia: TKO 6

In June 2003, following six rounds of see-saw boxing action, the Heavyweight bout between Mr Lennox Lewis and Mr Klitschko was halted due to significant damage to Mr Klitschkos facial region, resulting in a Technical Knockout victory to Mr Lennox Lewis. Contention remains in the boxing world regarding the scorecards, and which of the a fore mentioned boxers was leading, and whether the bout was prematurely stopped, although general consensus within the boxing community is TKO 6.

I have always rooted for Vitali against anyone he fought. I was so excited and happy for his success in the early going of TKO6.

Further, I have always found Lennox Lewis to be a bit of a smarmy **** in his interviews, commentary and so forth. I found him to be particularly ****ish in not granting a rematch, retiring and then proceeding to belittle Vitali on the night Vitali won the HW belt.

LL is (or appears to be) a sanctimonious ****.

However, none of this has any bearing upon the legitimate existence of TKO6.

    The stoppage WAS legitimate.

The smarmy **** WAS in fact taking control of the fight at the time of the stoppage.

Had the smarmy **** chosen (contrary to his ****ish nature) to grant the rematch instead of ****ishly retiring, he WOULD most likely have won by wide UD or again by legit
    stoppage.

    TKO6 lives.

According to Klittards, being ahead 58-56 is "dominating".

Vitali broke Lewis' nose, Lewis was finished, even Max Kellerman said that and he was sitting right behind Lewis' corner. ANGELO DUNDEE said that Vitali was cheated out of the WBC belt. Vitali has never had any stamina problems, but Lewis has, esp. that night. Vitali hurt Lewis, staggered him, but Lewis could not stagger Vitali at all.

Vitali may have broke Lewis' nose... But the doctors decided, Lennox was ready to go, and Vitali would be facing harm to himself over the gashes Lennox legally beat into his big face...

Beating your opponents face to pulp with legal punches, to the point of a doctor stopping it is a way to win a boxing match.:deal

This is what happened, and will go down for eternity as a TKO 6:good
