Vitali doesnt have anything like an Iron Chin...........based on one uppercut from a knackered lewis. Its a joke......Pele Reid Ko2
Byrd was making Vitali miss in the later rounds. I love how people say Vitali and Wlad wouldn't be allowed to fight smaller opponents like Ali and Frazier, when they HAVE fought blown up CWs. Wlad: Mormeck Haye Vitali: Adamek (Blown up LHW) Common opponents: Byrd (Who was a blown up SMW)
Iron chin won't do you any good if you don't have heart.:deal Regardless, the thread asks if Vitali is the most invincible fighter ever.... He obviously isn't, because he lost to Byrd.
WRONG Lewis was in training for a title defense on that date. Vitali took the fight on 2 weeks' notice.
One of the things that I find most difficult about Klitschko supporters is their unwillingness to accept their losses. A loss due to cuts is as absolute as any other. A loss where you were leading on the score cards does not give you any sort of moral victory, it is just a loss pure and simple. Supporters of every other fighter seem to accept this, and it is time for Klitschko supporters to accept it. There is always some sort of excuse or extenuating circumstance when a fighter looses. There probably is when they win, but it just never gets mentioned.
Lewis was in training for a fight that night against Kevin Johnson. Vitali was in training for a fight on the undercard against Cedric Boswell. Johnson got injured, Vitali took his place. Both Lewis and Vitali had been in training for a fight on that same night, so, again, Vitali doesn't get a free pass for his failure on that front as he had exactly the same amount of time to prepare as Lewis did.
Why is it you people disregard how bad his technique is, how slow he is and how clumsy he is? All he has is size and power, nothing else. Ali, Frazier, Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, etc destroy him. I swear John Ruiz would have beaten him by UD. He is awful and the only thing worse than him is the era he's in right now of crap hole boxers.
Vitali was stopped twice fair and square. His fight against Sam Peter? LOL Sam Peter had his hands full with James Toney. Vitali, good but not great. No way no how. Good but not great.
