I wouldn't have minded him trying to finish the fight, but I like him enough to not want to see him permanently injured.

Bottom line is that Lewis is not Amonsot, and you really wouldn't want to be hit by his best shot and not even see it coming.

I have the entire fight, saw it live also.

Rahman knocked Lennox Lewis out cold, not a TKO, but KO, a Knockout..............yet Rahman gave Lewis a rematch, Lewis was afraid to give Vitali a rematch and for good reason and not for any amount of money...........McCall TKO'd Lewis early, yet McCall gave Lewis a rematch, problem was that he came straight out of rehab for the fight..............McCall stood in front of Lewis and took his best shots without even trying to block them, but Lewis still could not hurt him..................Vitali staggered Lewis, but Lewis could not stagger Vitali. One thing is for certain, all the hate for Klitschkos have proven how great they really are................all the "sour grapes", pure jealousy, this actually makes me feel good about their talents. The same people are cutting down Golovkin, Lomachenko, Kovalev, etc. If they were not so good, then the haters would not be cutting them down. I know how good Klitschkos really are. Emanuel Steward knew how good they are. If Vitali were such an easy fight for Lewis, then why did he go back on his word about a rematch, perhaps his badly broken nose made him change his mind, and Angelo Dundee said that Vitali was cheated out of the WBC title that night. Angelo Dundee was shown on TV tonight talking about Ali Vs. Liston, but Angelo knows nothing about boxing nor cuts? LOL! Whatever, what happened to all your heroes? Klitschkos beat them.......................

First off everyone on this forum knows you are a pro white racist. And second man get over it already. Vitali gave Lewis a good fight but he lost fair and square. Vitali has weak easy to cut skin. The ref should have stopped that fight in the third round. That cut was bad. The ref gave Vitali 3 more rounds he should not have had. The ref gave Vitali 3 rounds to KO Lewis but he could not do it. I'm a Vitali fan and I wanted him to win. But Lewis won the fight why can't you face the facts???

Freedom can't face the facts BECAUSE he's a white nationalist ******, who wanks to naked pics of Wlad and Vitali on his bedroom wall every day. No point trying to debate with him, his mind is just rammed full of Klitschko/eastern european c o c k.

Nice how they cut out Lederman in the highlights.
Vitali made a bit of a tit of himself at the end. TKO6

Rahman did not give Lewis a rematch. Rahman wanted a different opponent altogether. Rahman was forced to give Lewis a rematch because the contract for their first fight had a rematch clause and Lewis took him to court to force him to honor it.

The Lewis/Vitali fight did not have a rematch clause. It is not a comparable situation to Lewis/Rahman.

McCall did not give Lewis a rematch. McCall was in no fit state to make any decisions for himself at the time. The WBC ordered McCall to fight Lewis because they were the top two rated fighters by the organization when Tyson vacated. Don King forced him into the fight despite his arrest and spell in rehab a mere two or so months before the fight, and did so despite the concerns about McCall's mental state by Lewis's camp and the promoters.

The Lewis/McCall situation is comparable only in as much as the WBC ordered it, but to try to spin it as if the decision to fight a rematch was McCall's and that Lewis had done nothing to earn his right to be in that match is absurd.

Lewis staggered Vitali with a jab. See for yourself:

If Lewis took the rematch, I'd give him the win.

Without the rematch I give it to Vitali.
