Vitali took the opening two rounds, lost the 3rd on two cards, took the 4th, lost the 5th on one card and lost the 6th round on all card. He was ahead when the fight was stopped but by no definition of the term could it be legitimately claimed that he was "winning easily".

Lewis also took the fight on two weeks notice becuase his original opponent Kirk Johson pulled out injured. Vitali was due to fight on the undercard against Cedric Boswell and had a full camp, and he ended the fight with needing 60 stitches to repair the damage to his face. Taking the fight on short notice is no excuse for his failure to get the job done.

Vitali has legitimately lost twice. He quit in a fight he was winning against Chris Byrd and forfeited the victory, and he took so much damage from Lewis that the doctor decided it wasn't safe for him to continue.

And, for what it's worth, he was behind on the cards when he knocked out Herbie Hide. Okay, it was a second round knockout and all that means is that Hide got the better of the first round of their fight but it does make the statement that Vitali was "always ahead in every fight" wrong.

Vitali is an all time great head-to-head but he's not unbeatable, and he falls very short of an all time great heavyweight career because the two best fighters he fought are recorded losses and the strenght of his resume is dire.

Hhahahah, this is still actually causing heated debate on this forum after all these years. Still can't get my head around that one.

    “THAT WHALE WAS JUST HARPOONED!!”

Your boy was made into a highlight reel. That’s what happened. That’s what we will all remember. Just like Lewis going out like a ***** at age 37 when everyone wanted to see the rematch.

    DEAL WITH IT.

Fake news as usual from this moronic Nazi cuck with his brain addled by the daily struggle with his soft pink chode insecurities.

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/official-2012-olympic-boxing-discussion-thread.414542/

I started a preview and discussion thread for those Olympics on the 4th of July. It hit 4 pages (including many contributions from Vysotskyy himself) before a few weeks passed without a bump. Vys either forgot there was a thread already or didn't care and on July 28th made a new one. I merged the old thread with the new one. Big whoop. Standard forum practice. Somehow, though, among ESB's own "Vern Schillinger & the Aryans from Oz" clique, the legend has grown that I "stole" Vysotskyy's thread. Boo hoo. All those poor little hurt pink butts.

Not to make light of mass shootings or any form of domestic terorism, but honest to God I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future a mathematician or physicist could trace every domestic terrorist attack in North America and western Europe back exactly to this thread through the butterfly effect or some ****.

Not gonna bother to look, but I bet you could look up TKO6 in the Urban Dictionary and the first two definitions given would be: 1. Acronym denoting a stoppage loss in the sixth round of a professional boxing match by Technical Knock Out, specifically to indicate the LL-VK fight/ass whooping. 2. Acronym denoting "definition 1" originally started on ESB by a true boxing fan named IB, but has been used since thread's inception by racists, bigots, virgins, and flat-out winners as a launching point for their verbal assaults(their only form of attack, not "men of action") on "the other side" or "the other team"...... The exact thread where submissive beta's go to act tough and vent because "reality" has been cruel to them, so they think.

White patriarchal masculinity has never been more toxic or more fragile and clearly threatened into a desperate rampage anywhere or anytime else than among the frantic, rabid E.E. fighters' apologists on boxing forums, and that is a FACT.
