A wide margin? A mere plurality of points is the delineator for classifying a wide margin? So a contest scored 118-110 x3 was won by a wide margin?
If this thread was metal, it would be rhenium diboride. If this thread was energy, it would be the product of perpetual motion. NOTHING CAN STOP IT
That single GIF from the OP will be interpreted and puzzled over by the archaeologists of alien races visiting earth billions of years from now. This interest will fuel their research into time-travel, and once they have perfected the necessary tech an expedition will be sent back far enough to obtain footage of the Lewis vs. Klitschko bout of legend, metaphorically cave-painted by us primitives on forum threads across our rustic interwebs...and the debate will rage on, among beings that have never experienced the concept of "sport" (let alone boxing) and never seen a human being outside some naturally bog-preserved ones in museums. Intergalactic wars shall then be fought, and the image of Lennox's face being covered with pixelated shades from above will grace the standard flags of a conquering army that subjugated the entire known universe, to its furthestmost point of expansion.
Being ahead by 2 points when there were still 5 1/2 rounds left really isn't that big of a lead. Lots of fighters have come back to win after trailing by 2 points or more.
Just to put being up 58-56 into perspective: had Amir Khan merely stayed on his feet another 23 seconds to reach the closing bell of the 6th, he would have been up 58-56 on Glenn Trowbridge's official scorecard. Being up 58-56 doesn't mean jack**** if the other guy has all the momentum, has started putting the bad touch on you, and has the big edge in power.
Wait, no I stand corrected...Vitali had ALL the momentum in the sixth. You don't just stumble onto full-power 100-megaton uppercuts like that face-first without having the momentum. This content is protected
