Lewis was beat badly by Vitali, so badly he retired from boxing. Lewis chickening our a fight now defines his entire career.
Lennox should open up a salt mine such is the flow of salty tears. VK fanboys still crying after all these years - truly the gift that keeps on giving.
...irrelevent. Bruno was leading on the cards when Lewis stopped him, and nobodies ever claimed Bruno "proved to be the superior boxer" because of it. Why should Vitali be treated any different just because he got stopped in a different way a round quicker?
Lewis did not stop Vitali, Lewis lost, but got a W on a technicality. Then he chickened out the rematch to prevent a second beating.
Lewis stopped Vitali in the same way Vitali stopped Charr. You cant claim a doctors stoppage isn't legitimate just because your guy lost.
Bruno was knocked out, not cheated by hit and hold illegal grazing punches, and neither did Bruno have Lewis in any trouble. Lewis was one punch away from being ko'd in round two. Which speaks to why no rematch was ordered by the wbc or offered by Lewis to Bruno.
bruno had a better defence up until the KO, not letting someone easily rip his face off. Notwithstanding that was prime lennox. Bruno did much better and survived longer than vitali. You must just be sore that Frank Bruno is a better fighter than vitali your lgend, surely?
if he was onepunch away from being koed, how come vitali couldnt land one punch? Was he that bad a boxer that he could land just a single punch? because although bruno did much better than vitali, he still lost bad.
