They say what he failed for? should be interesting considering he looked to be in better shape than usual

Because I thought Rampage was out of shape and if he was in the shape he was in when he fought Machida he would finish Rashad.

In shape or in no shape, hes going nowhere in MMA at this point. Id rather see him make A-Team 2.

Isn't rashad injured that's why he couldn't fight shogun next?

Dude, he was extremely close to finishing Rashad and then just got the W off of Machida, controversial or not. He is still very relevant, and I'm hoping he will be motivated for a rematch with Rashad and we'll see him in top form.

Knee/Leg injury. Just sidelined for 6 weeks, then can begin training again. While it's not anything very serious, it's the time frame that it's preventing him from taking this fight. Had this happened near the beginning of this camp it wouldn't be a huge issue and certainly not a fight ending one.

    No, he wasn't.

In the same sense that Garcia "won" against Pham, sure.

    Very true.

Really? You are going to compare Machida/Rampage which was a close fight to the highway robbery that was Garcia/Pham?

That's total bull****. You might think Machida won but it was clearly a very close fight and if it were a bad decision it doesn't compare to Garcia/Pham.

    Yup, I do.

And I can because it boils down to the same thing. Shitty judging (Pham vs. Garcia was way, way worse, and simply used because it's the most salient/recent example I can think of at the moment) and the standards by which they judge.

Though I've written about this elsewhere so I won't go into detail now because that would be beating the proverbial dead horse.

I was moreso making the argument to the other guy because of his clear nonsense point of "Dude, he was extremely close to finishing Rashad" which is just nonsense no matter how much you stretch the language.

I personally dont see how you can blame Machida v Rampage on the Judges at all. Machida lost more rounds than he won.

Wtf? I'm confused, did you see the fight? If Rampage was able to land one more clean shot the fight would've been called. He missed by an inch a couple times on a dazed Rashad. If Rampage had more energy he would've stopped him. Stop being silly

His sample is still being processed while all others from the event came back clean. So no positive yet.
