Vitali has the chin to take Haye's best shot and not even blink.

Once Haye feels Vitali's power, he will move inside less and less, and be Vitali's ***** at long range.

By the third he will get desperate and get caught full on with a shot.

This fight does not last past the 4th round...

Haye has to rely on his speed and one punch power, Vitali is going to look like he is stuck in mud compared to Haye. Haye needs to be slippery and evasive. I think Vitali is going to lose this one, and look bad doing so.

When did David Haye become a defensive wizard and ring genius?

Haye will have to fight this fight the way Roy Jones fought Ruiz. Get in, punch, get out.
Don't risk throwing a haymaking punch, because to do so means to stand up risk getting hit by Vitali. That's his only chance. If he tries to stand and trade with Vitali, it's over in less than one round.

Do not compare Vitali to Ruiz.

I'm not. Dear God I'm not. Vitali and Ruiz don't even belong in the same sport. I'm just saying that Haye better move, and keep moving all night or it's goodnight early for him. Vitali is simply possesses way too many barriers for Haye to handle. Speed might be his only advantage, but Vitali is an amazingly accurage puncher and even with all his speed, I still think Haye is getting tagged when they fight. If it's only jabs, I give Haye 4 rounds, but if he tags him with the left hook or the right cross, it's over in less than 1 round. Vitali really does his that hard. Go back and look at the Williams fight. He was launching Danny off the canvas with some of his punches! Look at the Johnson fight for more of the same. Both those guys were what? 260 or 270? Haye at 210-230 is going to fly.

By the same token VITLAY hit Byrd with everything but the kitchen sink and Byrd didn't budge.

I don't think the Williams fight or the Johnson fight (especially that one actually) are relevent at all, Williams was just a bum who got Tyson at the right time and earnt a good hiding because of it. Haye would beat the crap out of Williams 7 days a week, and far more convincingly than VITLAY did the job. Doesn't mean he'll beat VITLAY, just means Haye doesn't fight like a girl.

To begin with, Chris Byrd had a monster chin. Vitali was also in great pain during that fight and couldn't use one of his arms. And my references to Williams are examples of how easily Vitali could toss large fighter around the ring. It was an example of his strength.

Haye doesn't have a good enough chin - maybe his reflexes are good enough but I don't know.

imo for haye this is how he should fight vitali

-cannot stand at long range for to long, must either walk it out or work way in because staying in punching range and not doing anything will be a problem. booth has already detailed using the feet quickly to cover ground as a key factor.

-must create angles with head movement.

-use the up jab to back vitali up

-if vitali paws then pat jabbing hand then fire jab and overhand right drop under and roll away.

    -get in get out

-at times fire hooks to body.

-use plenty of fients when in range

-place lead foot inside of vitali's and move to right, from here i can see vitali reaching across to throw right which means haye can counter plus haye can throw lead right hands over vitalis left shoulder. vitali likes to throw jab then launch right hand straight over make him reach across himself he looks clumsy.

-at times rest and move on outside and disrupt vitalis attacks by wrapping him up after a attack.

haye must attack quickly and use explosive movements to get in and out.

    just my thoughts
