1 - What does Roy Jones have in his favor?
2 - How can he exploit it? I.E. Roy's gameplan?
3 - Does he have the heart?

All he's really got in this one is speed. The power edge won't play into it, I don't think. Hopkins has the durability, the freshness despite being older, the skill, the third fist, the uh...whatever.

run....run... run... or retire and don't fight anymore! he has great accomplishments. no need to prove anything. losing will just lessen his legacy.

Try to re-create the same scenario as their first fight, I guess. Just try to be faster , and win the race to the finish like the first fight.

Jones is still kinda fast, but he can be cornered easily. Maybe he can try to land a big counter if Hopkins gets as aggressive as he did the first time they faced- off.

Yeah, hell, he's still one of the fastest big men in the sport, but he's still not half as fast as he used to be. Hop has no love for fighting speedy fighters. That's just the only thing really.

    01. Do NOT rely on your shell defense.

    02. Beat Hopkins to the punch! Jabs or combos, throw first!

    03. Clinch and lean! Clinch and lean!

    04. Run, run, run!

I would say he should feint, let off a flurry, clinch putting all of his weight on Hopkins, wait for the break, get distance and repeat! If Roy uses that I think he has a chance to win the first 4-7 rounds. After that he is in no man's land. He better hope that Hopkins is tired and frustrated. Both of which I doubt.

He turtles up... Hopkins is making turtle stew.

I think people are overreacting after RJ's KO loss to Green. RJ was stunned but he wasn't THAT hurt. It wasn't like he was KOed cold.

I think this fight is going to be somewhat close. RJ will have his moments. I don't buy the notion that Hopkins is just going to destroy RJ. RJ still has the hand speed and power. That will count for something against Hopkins. And he's pretty crafty and knows the subtle tricks. And he's not a bad in-fighter.

There's a theory that Hopkins might walk RJ down. I doubt it. He's too crafty and careful to get that careless. Hopkins is also 45 and he doesn't want to gas early.

He doesn't stand a chance, once he starts laying on the ropes(AGAIN), Hopkins will start to break him down.

RJ is a pretty good in-fighter, especially against the ropes. When his opponent is in his chest, he's great at getting of blazing body shots and upper cuts. Anyone who has watched RJ knows this.

Now, it might be a different story if Hopkins takes a step back when RJ is against the ropes and picks his spots. Then RJ can't lay against the ropes. But if it comes down to an in-fight, i think RJ will handle his own for the most part.

JC was already showing his face in front of RJ but RJ can't even let his hands go. He just doesn't have his reflexes anymore. Only a lucky punch will get him the W.
