Taguchi vs Barrera / Argumedo vs Kyoguchi rbr

Just sat through Kyoguchi/Argumedo... and wow! I couldn't be any more impressed with the young kids performance, things went about as good as they possibly could. Kyoguchi started out slow(relatively speaking) and got better as the fight went on. 1-6 were pretty competitive and you could make a solid case for both trading 3 a piece, but it was still Kyoguchi who did the flashier work and landed the harder and more telling punches which obviously paid dividends in the latter half of the fight. But after that it was 1 way traffic.. You could make a good case for the fight being stopped in the 9th, Argumedo to his credit showed good survival instinct and recovered well enough to show a little spirit in the championship rounds, thought it wasn't enough to win them or make up for the swatting he had undergone...

For such a green and young kid to have such a mature performance in what was a quantum leap from his prior opposition... Just wow. This kid is going to be a mainstay in Japanese/Asian boxing for years to come no question. Maybe even WORLD.

rd 9 Taguchi TKO after a flurry against the ropes. Pretty questionable stoppage. One sided fight for the most part but Barrera was still showing enough to be allowed to continue.

In any case... Good performance from the the 30 year old Taguchi. He didn't give Barrera any room to breathe(the slicker and more boxing oriented of the two) is a rematch with Canizales next on the menu?
