Announced this morning! Ever since the start of 2018 we have expected to see WBA/IBF/Ring Magazine Light Flyweight Ryoichi Taguchi (27-2-2, 12) [田口良一] defending his titles against Hekkie Budler (31-3, 10), something that Taguchi had stated was next after he unified the titles with a win over Milan Melindo. Sadly the negotiations for the bout seemed get quite dragged out, but are now over, and a deal has been sorted, with an announcements for the bout being made this morning. The announcement, from the Watanabe gym, is that the wo men will clash on May 20th at the Ota-City General Gymnasium, in Tokyo. Not the previously rumoured May 19th. With the bout to be aired live on TBS, showing that the relationship between TBS and the Watanabe gym is a long term one. http://www.asianboxing.info/asian-n...er-on-may-20th-hiroto-kyoguchi-also-in-action Interestingly Taguchi's most famous current stable mate Kohei Kono will be fighting a day earlier in Australia against Jason Moloney!
