We were right about him all along, haha. I remember some people ridicuoling even the thought of him being a top10 HW.
Credit where credit is due, Takam looked pretty good! IMO he would walk through Whyte & would give Wilder some problems, very durable guy , much respect to him & yes the humble pie tastes good guys, but Joshua handled him very though...a very good fight for both guys. The ref ,well he's better than Weekes in the Ward/Kov fight & Bayliss etc ... lol. BB Of course Hearns was going to "Chuck" Joshua in with Vlad , be a fool not to... as far asnthe GGG issue, he had a problem with Eubanks that he wanted out from & putting Kell in (who wanted the fight) got them away from the "Eubanks who needs them" scenario. I see hearns is trying to get Fury back in the mix...lets hope he has the prep time needed unlike Takam ...makes you wonder how well Takam would do with a full & proper training camp against Joshua ?
Takam showed why us why you 'hardcore' fans are so high on him? Lol! I told you before the fight he wouldnt land a single meaningful punch, he didn't come to win, just to try and survive. Was a walk in the park for Joshua. And you're gloating over that performance lol you are pathetic. I respect the guy but 'high' on Takam... wow you really need a life kid. I hope Hearn makes Whyte-Takam, Takam will get beaten up.
Made to look like a fool and you won't eat your crow. - Takam lasted longer than Whyte - Had success late into the fight The plan was indeed to try and survive... But not JUST that - The plan was to take Joshua late and then go for it as his tank started to empty. Most gave Takam the 9th and maybe 1 other round, who knows what would have happened had the ref not constantly paused the action which allowed Joshua as much needed breather. Anyways... You were wrong and I was right. Takam a TIER below Whyte and Breazeale....
"Wouldn't land a single punch" You were dead wrong with that. This was by far Joshua's 2nd toughest fight, Joshua ate far more leather than he did against anyone else bar Wlad, he missed more punches than he did against anyone else, and Takam was still coming back with his own punches in the 7th, 8th, 9th rounds unllike Breazeale or Whyte. You sound like you didn't see the fight and are just basing opinion on scorecards.
