    Saying “you might possibly be fighting AJ” is not the same as fronting money for sparring, etc., for a full camp ... giving him the resources to have the right sparring partners (who resemble AJ).

    Is there sure knowledge that he was given the resources for an 8-week camp same as he’d have held (with proper sparring partners and so forth) as if he’d signed to fight AJ from the start?

    The point I replied to said Takam stopped for 5 seconds and spoke to the ref, so it does matter, if he thought it was a butt then he obviously wanted some acknowledgement from the ref.

    The referee had an absolute nightmare. That's fact for sure. He really really pissed me off throughout. I could see him hovering that round. I knew he was thinking of stopping it the ****.

    That said, I was less furious after seeing the replay. His eyes did have that "far away" look. That said, it was a bad stoppage and a bad refereeing performance.
