As a fighter I adore Takam. He's a one in a thousand sort that always comes to fight, and always gives it his best. A Ward, Gatti, Darnell Wilson, Orlando Solido type of fighter.

Losses be damned, traveling be damned. He's as good as a B-Level has ever been. Hats off to him, people like him are great for the sport.

Telling as i see it, Sherman the Tank Williams would have destroyed Takam if they both fought.

Quite capable of dethroning any of the current world title holders.
Including Parker who he fought damned near even with.

As I said before, he needs to seek out a fight with the WBCs top 3 and force a fight with their titlist

Takam needs to get Wilder in the ring.

I am 90% sure that he starches ol' chicken legs.

Yeah. But I think Takam would win comfortably.

I'm 100% cure that Wilder would have to replicate the BVerno fight and be better even.

If Wilder beat Takam like he did Verno, or in better fashion than did Potvetkin, Wilder would easily jump to #2 behind the winner of Joshua Klitschko.

Takham has nice combinations, hes a solid contender that anyone who wants to break into the Top 5 has to beat convincingly.

Takam gasses when pressed. Tough guy but won't ever beat any elite fighters.

Impressive ko for Takam, I'd still rate him towards the bottom of the top 10, he's a good solid heavyweight.

Rekowski isn't anything special though. He's picked up a few minor wins the past couple years so I wouldn't classify him as a complete nobody but he's not a win to get excited over.

The good thing for Takam is that he's back in the ring for the first time since Parker and his first win in over a year. Now he needs to try to line up a big fight or some sort of eliminator.

He's a good fighter but at 36 he can't waste anymore time.

A guy Wilder would have happily fought if given the opportunity lol. Domestic level just like Wawrzyk, who fortunately for the fans popped for steroids and as a result we're seeing a better fight next month.
