    The Ring's 2015 fight of the year. It was on the co-main event of the Cotto vs Canelo undercard. It was an exceptional fight, which sadly didn't get much fanfare from the people in attendance then. I won't spoil the result or say much, so that people who haven't watched the fight can enjoy it. Obviously those who have seen the fight can also watch, I'm not stigmatizing anyone. Plus it is nice to watch boxing on HBO. At least for the nostalgia aspect.

    Both Miura and Vargas were awesome fighters. Always produced FOTY's. :chuck:

    Now that was a fight.

    Loved both these dudes,both ction fighters.
    The night itself was electric to me as Cotto vs Canelo was a fight I was looking forward to.Liked that ring colouring aswell,made it seem ...I dont know....engaging.
    Always thought Miura retired a bit earlier than he should jhave but Iguess he wanted all his marbles.

    Jesus that's flown.. used to love Muira...ever since he flatlined billy dibb . hard not to love a banger ...vargas was a hard ******* as well

    Damn time really flies. I remember being on the edge of my seat watching Vargas vs Miura. What a great fight it was. Both of those guys were entertaining to watch. Francisco Vargas would also have another FOTY battle with Orlando Salido.

    Amazing Fight

    Those three wars in a row against Miura, Salido and Berchelt ruined Vargas.
