Yes. Stupid Teleto showed a marathon of anime while it was happening live, and this is all on delay.

Some rumblings online from the pinoy contingent that it was a tragic injustice... but that's to be expected.

Glad to see some honest objective fans repping the PI here. :thumbsup

Was the fight close enough to warrant a rematch IB?

Honestly mate, my opinion Jaro deserve a chance to get his belt back.

But he lost. It is close, but there's no doubt who won it.

    They should stop showing Penalosa.

That guy ruined their champ Hiroshi Kawashima.

I sense the Japs want Uchiyama to knock Farenas head clean off his neck now.

Nah. Igarashi is a class above and Jaro's power - while formidable - was only enough to rattle Igarashi a few times. Can't see him putting him away with anything in the rematch as he pretty much landed his best shots here. Definitely don't see Jaro making any adjustments to earn a decision against a better boxer who's had 12 rounds to figure him out, either.

I'm hoping he doesn't fade into oblivion just because he lost the belt in his 1st defense.

He might though. He was planning to retire had he lost to Pong.

The win just extended his career.

Well, I could still hope for Jaro to pull an upset if he gets another chance at a title haha

A win over Pong (who will probably be HOF) and a WBC reign - however short - are enough to stamp his legacy even if he doesn't accomplish any more. :good

Considering he's honestly just a crude banger with freakish power, he has already overachieved IMO.
