    Maxim Vlasov, on October 18th in Anaheim, CA.

    Assumptions
    -Froch/Groves will have a rubber match or the clear winner will take a long break after May
    -Chavez Jr will fight Golovkin, Brandon Gonzales or Bika after he "beats" Vera "again"
    -Golovkin will fight Chavez Jr, Kirkland or Geale in the summer and shoot for Martinez @ end of 2014 / early 2015
    -Stevenson-Kovalev will happen in September and Ward won't fight their leftovers (Fonfara/Agnew)
    -Truax and Sartison have already been declined as Ward opponents by HBO
    -Chilemba, Cloud, Periban and Stevens would be declined as Ward opponents by HBO
    -SES and Stieglitz don't want the fight
    -DeGale doesn't want the fight
    -Tommy O is not serious about boxing anymore (re: last fight)
    -Pavlik is even less serious than Tommy about boxing... seriously
    -Gonzales and Ward don't want to fight each other
    -Ward will decline an invitation to Montreal for a main event with Pascal
    -Ward will decline an invitation to Montreal for a fight vs E. Alvarez as co-feature to Stevenson-Kovalev

    Bute has to demonstrate he's found a way to be tv material again, otherwise HBO won't bother listening. If he ever gets a "second comeback" fight, it sure as hell won't be against the P4P #2.

    This is the third thread with Ward in the title on the front page. I suggest one of our helpful moderators merge this with the other 2, as otherwise we might have a thread where an actual conversation is possible. We're also low on 100+ page shitshows.

    Why doesn't Ward grow some nuts and,

    1- Leave Jokeland
    2- Accept he's not more marketable than the fighter he is fighting and not demand a higher percent of the purse (ala his reason for not fighting Froch at Wembley)
    3- If he is so interested in fighting GGG, like he claims, drop down a weight like Dawson did for him.
    4- Take the test like he refused against Rodriguez.

    One is about insomnia, the other one about Golovkin being more exciting than Ward. In which one should we discuss Ward's next fight in a relevant manner?

    So, mid to late 2015 is when Andre's next fight will take place?

    Must be tricky to rely solely on a simple MW titlist moving up to SMW in order to stage your next fight. :lol:

    GGG wont happen in Oaktown. It will be NYC, or Vegas. No high profile fighter with any market leverage is ever going to agree to fight on Wards turf again. Not going to happen.

    If Ward doesnt leave Cali, hes going to have to settle for fighting very infrequently against previously unknown opposition. Which he may do. But no promoter who has any options is going to goto Cali. Its just not going to happen.
