I was going to mention him too, except I didn't know what his greatest strength was, all he had was strengths!

Take away his constant and defensive jab then guys like Lamotta would of beaten him. Robinson`s style was built around his long reach, the jab is your body fully extended and is the punch that keeps you the furthest away from your opponent.

Without Frazier`s hook he might have thrown less punches than AJ and Parker did last weekend!

Take away Robi`s combo punching ability would have a big impact on his style, he was the first guy to use combo punching, what an advantage tat gave him and what a combo puncher!

That would take away Tyson`s best offensive move, the right hook to the body followed by the uppercut, it`s a really good way to hit and knockout out a taller fighter, because the hook to the side brings there head forwards making the uppercut easy to land, it`s a very hard punch for a shorter fighter to land, it would have served Tyson well v the super sized heavies of today, without their reach would be a big problem. How many times did Tyson throw uppercuts after Rooney was sacked, the only time I remember was the hook, uppercut combo that finished Bruno off and an uppercut was landed on McNeeley. I also feel Louis would need his counter jab against today`s giants because using the jab creates space and exploits their reach plus it set up Louis`s other shots.

I feel every fighter needs a jab against the very best.

If you take away Golovkin's chin, jab, footwork and power, he's actually not a great boxer when you think about it.
