.......Does the Hayemaker beat him? Or does his injured pinky still have problems moving across the rings floor? I thought Haye looked slightly more sluggish launching counters against Wlad. Perhaps the surface Fury fought on, helped Tyson move around easier?
Nah Haye tried to move and take wlad's jabs away but even on the occasions when Wlad did miss Haye didn't have the height and reach to counter. Plus in close he was trying to get the deduction for wlads holding that was never going to work. Fury was fairly happy to hold and land the odd close range punch. Wlad was wary of fighting someone his own size from the get go. He couldn't out jab fury so he didn't want to throw anything
In the post fight interview Klitschko said that 'the right comes after the left'. It seems deeply embedded in his fighting mentality that a right cross can only be thrown if a jab lands, as this is a calculated risk. If the Jab does not land then the risk increases and Klitschko refuses to throw the right. Hence why we saw very few right hands thrown against fury. Klitschko needs to get over this calculated way of thinking, which obviously hindered him.
